पाली जिला मुख्यालय पर आज अगर कोई चर्चा जोरों पर है, तो उसके केन्द्र में जिला कलक्टर नीरज के. पवन हैं। गरीब, पढऩे-लिखने में असमर्थ और स्कूलों तक पहुंच बनाने में नाकाम रहे सैकड़ों बच्चों को नीरज पढ़ाने में जुटे हुए हैं।
एक अलग सी कोशिश में जुटे 2003 बैच के आईएएस नीरज मूलत: झालावाड़ से ताल्लुक रखते हैं। बच्चों से खासा लगाव रखते हैं और विशेष रूप पिछड़े बच्चों को शिक्षा से जोडऩे के लिए विशेष रूप से जुटे हुए हैं। नीरज की इसी पहल की वजह से आज उनके घर सुबह जब वे सैकड़ों बच्चों को क, ख, ग, घ सिखा रहे थे, सामाजिक क्षेत्र से ताल्लुक रखने वाले कुछ लोगों ने उनकी तस्वीरें खींची और फेसबुक पर भी जारी की। फेसबुक पर नीरज के इस प्रयास की फोटो आने के बाद न केवल पाली, बल्कि प्रदेशभर के अधिकारियों में नीरज एक बार फिर चर्चा में आए गए। ऑफिसर्स टाइम्स को नीरज की यह तस्वीरें पाली से सोहन भाटी ने भिजवाई हैं।

How to lead and complete any task eg Removal of encroachments from Jodhpur road, Nakki lake cleaning, Maharana Pratap smarak and all development projects with municipal council- Rajeev path, Science Park, Lakotia, traffic lights, Mandia road.....uncountable works, save the girl child, ..........it will be a so long list ....A man of words and so humble and polite with his working team and provide full support and pleasant atmosphere. Famous in general public like a star/ Hero. Facebook got the recognization in pali due to him only.
